Creating a Books listing

A Books listing is a place guests stay by the night: a hotel, guesthouse, lodge, home, apartment, villa or a private room in your home.

About your place

• Type: pick the closest match. Hotels, guesthouses, serviced apartments and lodges are set up with several room types; homes and rooms are one unit. You can change this on the next screen.
• Location: choose your city, sub-city and a nearby landmark, then put the pin on your place. Your street, house number and exact pin stay private until a booking. See Why your exact address is private.
• Property details: check-in and check-out times, whether there's a 24-hour front desk, and the languages your staff speak.

Make it stand out

• Facilities: Wi-Fi, backup power, a water tank, parking, breakfast and more.
• Photos: at least 5. See Photo tips.
• Title and description: short, honest and specific. Don't add phone numbers, emails or links: guests contact you on Gojo Spot.
• Rooms: for places with several rooms, add each room type. See Adding room types. For one unit, add the guests, bedrooms, beds, bathrooms and price per night.

Pricing and rules

• Optional discounts for weekly and monthly stays, and for your first 3 bookings.
• Optional cleaning and extra-guest fees.
• Minimum and maximum nights, notice, time between bookings and how far ahead guests can book.
• Request to book (you accept each request within 24 hours) or Instant book (guests with a verified identity book straight away).
• House rules, your cancellation policy and safety information.
