Anti-discrimination Policy
Last updated
Draft for legal review. This document will be reviewed by a lawyer before Gojo Spot takes real bookings or payments.
Ethiopia is home to many peoples, languages and faiths, and so is Gojo Spot. Everyone who follows our rules is welcome here, as a host and as a guest.
Our commitment
Hosts and guests may not refuse, cancel, charge differently, set different rules or treat anyone worse because of their:
- Ethnicity, nationality or the region they come from
- Religion or belief
- Language
- Sex or marital status
- Age (above our minimum of 18)
- Disability or health condition
- Skin colour or appearance
What hosts can and can't do
- You can set house rules that apply to everyone equally (for example, no smoking or no pets).
- You can decline a booking for a fair reason that has nothing to do with who the guest is, such as dates or the number of guests.
- You can't describe your listing as "only for" or "not for" a group of people.
- You can't ask guests about their ethnicity, religion or other personal characteristics.
Accessibility
Hosts should describe accessibility honestly (steps, lifts, bathroom access) so guests with disabilities can choose the right place. Read more in Accessibility at Gojo Spot.
Reporting discrimination
If you experienced or saw discrimination on Gojo Spot, please report a concern and choose "Discrimination". We review every report. Breaking this policy can lead to a warning, removal of a listing, or suspension or closure of an account.
